Who we are

Reset Radar (resetradar.com) is an independent information service operated by an EEA-based professional services consultancy. We keep a low profile by design; for anything data-related you reach the controller directly and quickly by email: .

What we collect and why

Subscription details. If you subscribe, we store your email address, your optional phone number, your optional plan choice, and a record of your consent (timestamp and the consent text you agreed to). We use these to send you usage-reset alerts and, occasionally, news about other products built by the owners of Reset Radar. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every message or by emailing us.

We never sell or share your contact details with unrelated companies, data brokers, or third-party mailing lists. They may be used for the owners' own ventures only, as stated at the point of signup.

Reset reports. If you report a reset, we store what you submitted: event kind, plan, optional country, optional note, and a timestamp. Reports are aggregated to detect and scope events. Do not put personal data in the note field.

Technical data. Our server keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, user agent) for abuse prevention and rate limiting. A one-way hash of your IP may be kept briefly to deduplicate reports; raw IPs are not attached to subscriptions or reports.

First-party analytics. We count page views and feature use (for example, that a subscription happened) without cookies and without personal data. Everything is processed on our own server; no analytics provider or session-recording service receives anything.

How a visit is recorded. So we can tell which parts of the site actually help, we keep a record of what a visit consisted of: which sections came into view, what was clicked, how far the page was scrolled, whether the film was played, how long the page was open and how much of that time was active. The identifier that ties those moments together is a random value held in your browser's session storage; it is discarded when you close the tab and is never linked to you as a person.

What we never record. We do not record what you type. If you begin filling in a field, we record only that typing began and which field it was, never the characters, and the server discards anything resembling field content even if it arrives. There is no screen recording, no mouse-path capture, no keystroke logging, and no reading of clipboard or form values.

Your choice. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, no interaction record is created at all. Both settings are honored before anything is collected.

Cookies and third parties

By default this site sets no cookies. Preferences (theme, calculator inputs, consent choice) live in your browser's local storage and never leave your device. If we enable cookie-based analytics or advertising, they load only after you accept the consent banner, and this policy will name the providers.

Retention

Subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, then removed from the active list within 30 days (a minimal suppression record may be kept so we do not email you again). Reset reports are kept as anonymous aggregate history. Technical logs rotate within 30 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email us () and we will act within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Changes

We will update this page when practices change and note the date above. Material changes to how we use subscriber data will be announced to subscribers before they take effect.
